Fiber Optics Team Leader

Design and modify FTTH network, Give training on how to instill and working on QGIS program, Give full detail to the implantation team by using (QGIS and AutoCAD), Create BOQs and BOMs, handles tasks related to development of the overall network architecture, capacity and coverage planning, project implementation for new network or changes to existing network.

• Technical Site Survey
• Installation of fiber
• Installation of new cable lines both underground and overhead
• Testing using a variety of equipment and recording results
• Following specific workmanship instructions, multitasking
• Must be receptive to changing priorities Develop a strategy the team will use to reach its goal
• Cutting and splicing for fiber optics cables
• Using OTDR to locate faults and measures distance of cables
• Preparing OTDR Test results
• Preparing material require list for installation after survey
• Liaise with clients on site and find solution
• Leading and communicate clear information to team members
• Provides assistance to co-workers in specific situations
• Reporting to section head properly and timely
• Basic technical knowledge for passive equipment
• Technical knowledge in computer, how to use Microsoft Office
• Experience and knowledge in Fiber Optic technology

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer/Telecommunication/Electrical/Civil Engineering or related.
• +3 Years in ISP Engineering Role.

• Able to understand technical terms and uses related with materials needed on site
• Knowledge of safety procedures, techniques and equipment
• Knowledge of network construction and splicing
• Knowledge of current developments in the field of communications
• Be able to work at height
• Availability to travel
• Obedient and Team spirit
• Availability for extended hours
• Working under pressure resistance
• Electronic Communication Engineer
• English Intermediate
• Microsoft Office
• Driving skill essential and valid license also required
