Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing market intelligence data crucial for pricing of the products for all service lines. Additionally, this role is responsible for providing competition analysis, price rates cost impact of regulations, gathering market intelligence data, provide market insight and conducting market research.
Job Duties:
- Provide needed data for the development of price plans for all service lines for all sales channels.
- Assess cost impact of new regulations and provide recommendation to management.
- Assess likely response from competition to proposed price and product offerings changes.
- Manage the Price Rate approval process efficiently with all related departments.
- Review alternatives and recommend Price Rate plans in alignment with the Price Rate regulation policies to position the product and services competitively in the market.
- Evaluate the current pricing structure of competitors and provide input to management.
- Liaise with Business and Consumer sales to ensure proper targeting of enterprise segment and proper data collection for the consumer business to improve service performance and product offering.
- Work closely with the sales managers to understand the competitive intelligence needs and collects market information on competitors’ strategy, services, prices and deployment.
- Collect information and analyze competitors’ strategy, services, prices and deployment and disseminate results to the concerned departments.
- Coordinate with marketing agencies to perform required market research and demand forecast.
- Develop and generate reports to assess performance/behaviors across the various customer segments and products aligning with sales performance.
- Ensure timely availability of market data/intelligence to concerned departments for decision making.
- Liaise with departments to advise on market research requirements and gather requirements accordingly
- Collect customer insight through customer contact and primary/secondary data analysis.
- Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases.
Requirements
Education:Minimum BA in Marketing.
Experience : Minimum 4 Years’ Experience in Market research.
Knowledge
- Excellent Command of English and Arabic- Written and Spoken.
- Excellent Command of Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint).
- Tariff rules and regulations amp; Full understanding of ISP Pricing Structure.
- Statistical tools and techniques .
- Impact analysis of regulations.
- Market Research methodologies.
- ISP Product and Network knowledge amp; Trends in ISP Services.
- Competitors, market trends, pricing etc.
- Different consumer segments, consumer preferences and consumer behavior
- Full product lifecycle (development, management, decommissioning)
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and clients.
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently.
