Job Description

We are looking to hire a Business Development Specialist for us in Iraq to build the business for us. This is an entreprenuerial role that will lead to acquiring quality teachers for our platform in Iraq. The following will be the list of activities that is expected from this role:

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Initiate Partnerships and Corporate deals for the company
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Monitoring and Leading indirect sales and Acquisitions
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support


Requirements

  • Proven working experience in business development, Sales/Partnerships or relevant fields
  • Successful track record in negotiation
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in English (Preferable)
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Education Market knowledge (schools, teachers, exams, exam preps, etc) is a plus
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Either in Baghdad /Ready for relocation to Baghdad
