Job Description

Ensuring that Control Risks is compliant at all times with the Government of Iraq laws and regulations of Residency and Ministry of Labor and other related department. Specifically, the role is responsible for the processing and management of all foreign national staff’s visas and work permits, public affairs with the GOI and non-GOI entities in the center region, and to provide support to the Compliance team in the center region.

Requirements

Departmental Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage visas and Exit Visas for foreign national staff, starting from building up the application request, through submission and progress, to the issuance and distribution to concerned departments and staff.
  • Build, Hold and Own solid detailed tracker of visas to maintain firm timeline of applications’ submission and renewal and apply updates constantly.
  • Maintain organized archive of all Visa, letters of invitation and passports.
  • Monitor all MOI/Residency rules and regulation related to foreign national’s Visas and keep the management aware of changes that may occur.
  • Book and arrange the blood tests for foreign national staff, starting from building up the application request to arranging the escorting of the foreign nationals to the Clinic and issue the result.
  • Hold solid detailed tracker of blood tests to maintain firm timeline of tests and appointments and apply updates constantly.
  • Maintain organized archive of all blood test results.
  • Monitor all MOH Clinics rules and regulation related to foreign national’s blood test and keep the management well aware of changes that may occur.
  • Process and manage Work Permits for foreign national staff, starting from building up the application request, through submission and progress, to the issuance and distribution to the concerned department and staff.
  • Build, Hold and Own solid detailed tracker of work Permits to maintain firm timeline of applications submission and renewals, and apply updates constantly.
  • Maintain organized archive of all Work Permits.
  • Monitor all MOL rules and regulation related to foreign national’s Work Permits and keep the management well aware of changes that may occur.
  • Attend face to face meetings with Ministry of Interior (MOI)/Residency Office, Ministry of Labor, MOH/Blood Clinics to Ensuring that Control Risks is professionally represented.
  • Build, maintain, represent, and promote the organization's interests to the GOI and non-GOI entities in the center region.
  • Engage with, build connections and promote Control Risks across the GOI entities.
  • Maintain professional and good relations with the employees of MOI, MOH and MOL to ensure smooth tracking of applications progress.
  • Reporting company compliance related expenses generated from responsibilities functions to enable a financial conclusive forecast for the company’s monthly and yearly budget.
  • Ensuring confidentiality is upheld with the receipt of sensitive information and security is put in place with the storage of such data.
  • Inform management of any variations to the business environment and/or the governing regulatory systems effecting the goodstanding, or in general, the interests of the company and its investment in Iraq.
  • Provide Control Risks Administration/Finance, Operations and Logistics departments with clear details of what is required from each in terms of MOI, MOH and MOL Compliance, to ensure each department’s processes and documentation are in good order.
  • Collating and recording confidential documentation accurately to assist in the application and processing of Visas, Work Permits and Blood Tests.

Personnel Management

  • Compliance Coordinator and Admin Intern Baghdad.

Policy and Procedure

  • Adhere to control Risks Policies in accordance with local (GOI and MOI) and international laws (ABC, FCPA).
  • Management of all Visa, Work Permits and MOH activities in accordance with local (GOI and MOI) and international laws (ABC, FCPA).

Quality Management

  • Delivery of Compliance support in accordance with policy, procedure and QMS requirements.
