Technical Surveillance Operators that will be responsible for procedural development, day-to-day management, regular assurance, and continuous improvement of a 24/7 operations center, with the 24/7 monitoring of its control room to provide a deter, detect, deploy function in line with the Asset protection managers security function.

Operational Responsibilities
- As part of a three- surveillance operating team, manning a 24hr operations room which monitors technical surveillance equipment, designed to deter, detect, and respond to attacks against critical infrastructure.
- The operators will develop operating procedures aligned with the Clients Security Standards and incorporating site level emergency response plans and procedures.
- The operators will be responsible for maintaining and updating the security plans and procedures in response to a significant event, as part of continuous threat assessment, or regularly as required by the appropriate standards.
- The team will design, in conjunction with the Asset Protection Manager, a regular assurance schedule to test the efficacy of the system. This schedule will combine dry drills, live exercises, and simulations. The sessions will be monitored and closely assured by line and regional managers.
- In close coordination with the equipment vendor the team will be responsible for managing all system updates, refinements, and upgrades in accordance with the assurance schedule and equipment performance guidance.
Requirements
Essential
- Detailed knowledge of conducting detection and surveillance operations, and the operational use of technical surveillance equipment
- A high level of verbal and written English to compose Security plans and procedures in line with the clients’ requirements.
Preferred
- Trained in the use of Technical Surveillance, including the use of perimeter detection assets. .
- Knowledge of operating within Kurdistan Northern Iraq.
- Oil and Gas experience.
Qualifications and specialist
Essential
- Previous operational experience in a hostile or complex operating environment (Iraq or Afghanistan
- Security Industry Authority (SIA) frontline close protection qualified
- Competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Office products
- Report writing and Client briefings.
- Medical qualification (FREC 3 FPOSI) or equivalent
Preferred
- Ability to work in arduous conditions
